Review+Swatch - Too Faced Line & Shine
Do you wear lip pencil or liner? Do you know anyone who does? Seems that pencil has fallen from popularity like pantyhose; no one wears it. But the lines still put them out here and there. And I don’t think I would have even tried this next one had I not received this one from TOO FACED in a gift bag at a party recently.
It’s a cute little kit called Line & Shine from TOO FACED and it contains two deluxe sizes from their line. The Perfect Lips Lip Pencil touts itself as The Only Lip Liner You’ll Ever Need and I might have to agree. This one prevents feathering and most importantly, a precise application, and they even added vitamin E and jojoba oil to it . The formula is smooth and I’d say the color is a dark pinky nude. Would love a pair of patent leather heels in this color! $18.50.
The other product in the set is their Glamour Gloss Lip Gloss in Flirt, which is another dark pinky nude, which they call a pink mocha and it has a fun minty feel to it. And this one has rich omega 3, 6 and 9, vitamin E and jojoba and avocado oil to keep lips in shape. It has an added scent to it that I can't quite put my finger on. It's like a dessert or something, like the ones from Urban Decay I recently tried, which I'm not too wild about. Why do makeup companies insist on making the products that are so close to the nose, have a scent? $19.
Pair these two with a smoky eye and you’re ready for that hot day. Both available individually @ toofaced.com.
