*New* Lalicious Sugar Reef Collection

I’ve always been a big fan of the LALICIOUS line. They just put out great quality body products where I never have to be afraid of the ingredients. They just added a new scent called Sugar Reef this month and I tried two of them. So did they live up to my expectations?

Sugar Reef is a clean and has a slight flowery smell but overall scent is really light and not overwhelming. It combines notes of casaba melon, white tea and ginger.

I tried out the Sugar Reef Body Oil ($8/2oz, $24/8oz, $80/32oz) and as usual it rocks. The ingredients – coconut oil, sweet almond oil, macadamia nut oil, essential and fragrance oils, soybean oil and vitamin E oil. Also note that when coconut is at room temperature or below, it starts to solidify so when you squeeze some of this one out, you may feel some pebbles or pieces but as soon as you warm it in your hands it liquefies. My skin is quite happy with this one. And such a pleasant scent.

Lalicious-Sugar-Reef-Body-OilThe other favorite is the Sugar Reef Moisturizing Body Scrub ($9.50/2oz, $34/16oz, $110/68oz) – it’s sugar-based and really has all the qualities I love in a body scrub – thick and moisturizing in one. Ingredients: cane sugar, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, essential and fragrance oils, vitamin E oil, soybean oil and honey. And because all the ingredients are whipped together, there is no separation in the tub, like some.
