Have you seen any of the Glitter and Ice Holiday Colour Collection from MAC? Some of them really live up to their name of glitter and ice.

My first pick is the Glitter and Ice Paint Pot shown here in For Effect. It’s a little grey, a little black, a little shimmery and a little pearly, and gives eyes a little pop of texture and depth.

I took the swatch pictures outside as I had quite the problem shooting it both with and without a flash. I wanted to get the most realistic shots but even outside, the particles in the cream would sometimes pick up the light. Very unique Paint Pot.

The other items I swatched from the collection are the Glitter and Ice Technikohl Liner Eye-Liner Kajal in Seasonally Spicey (a pearl brown) and Smooth Manoeuvre (pearl black), both of which are good basics.

Like all their kohl liners, these glide on nicely with no tugging or pulling. The only negative is that these do not come with a sharpener in the bottom like some of theirs do. Even though the tip is already pretty skinny, if you need a sharp tip every time you use it, you maybe want to figure out how you’re going to sharpen it before you buy it.  All @ maccosmetics.com.
