There are a few things in life I just don’t get: stirrup pants, lip plumpers, UGG Boots and Beef Jerky. And I think I’m adding this face powder to the list. CHANEL Natural Finish Loose Powder in Ferrie 47 is part of the Holiday 2011 Makeup Collection and a really beautiful light and soft shimmering pink. So what’s the problem?

Maybe I missed something with this but I don’t know the last time I saw someone walking down the street with glitter/light-reflecting particles all over their face like the amount of what’s inside this 47 Ferrie powder; and it's not just a little of shimmer. How is CHANEL billing this for the face?? I tried to capture the look of the powder in the container with my camera but I couldn’t get a good shot so you’ll just have to take my word for it.  

Yes, sweep 47 Ferrie across your décolletage or arms but for the face? I’ll pass. $52 @ chanel.com.
