When the Sephora brand picks up a skin care brand, I take notice. The line is called ALGENIST and, as it says all over the products, was created by a team of biotechnology scientists in San Francisco. They were developing something and it turned out that they created something that showed it worked very well for something else, in this case, to slow the signs of aging. The ingredient they discovered is Alguronic Acid and found that it corrected, enhanced and protected the skin.

And there is a product for just about everything your face can dream up and just added 4 new ones to what seems to already be a complete line – Regenerative Anti-Aging Lotion ($60/2oz), Targeted Age Correcting Serum ($79/1oz), Overnight Restorative Cream ($90/2oz) and a really great Gentle Rejuvenating Cleanser, to name a few. My favorite in the line has to be the Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF20 ($90/2oz). Not only is it a superb moisturizer but it contains a full spectrum of protection from the sun and after I apply it, there is no white-residue-wait, which is the wait time after applying a sunscreen for it to absorb into the skin.
