How hot are eye color enhancing shadows? Do you know people who use them religiously? I don’t but then again, I’ve never taken a poll. They can’t hurt though, right? PHYSICIANS FORMULA came out with Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner from the Pop Collection recently and the bright springy colors are just so uplifting! Out of the four, I think the Enhance Green Eyes palette is the best one but all four combos seem workable. They break up each palette where the top 3 colors are considered the Trio #1 Natural colors or considered the most versatile, the middle 3 are the Trio #2 Playful colors and the bottom 3 are the Trio #3 Dramatic, which can be used for contouring

And the sponge brush that comes with it seems pretty workable but not as versatile as they seem to claim. The tip of it can be used for lining but I think a lining brush works better but the flat side of the sponge brush is pretty good at applying the color to all over the lid. So it’s a keeper until it gets saturated with too many of the colors!

If you are a little nervous about sticking your toe into the color spectrum, this is a good one to try out as the colors are pretty sheer overall and totally buildable. Use each color wet or dry and each as a liner, as mentioned above, or a shadow. $10.95 @ walgreens.com, amazon.com.
