Get Glycolic with NeoStrata
I’ve addressed the benefit of glycolic acid on this site before and believe in using them regularly on the skin to reap the long-term benefits of it. You can get it in many forms and NEOSTRATA has one in a face cleanser. Their Foaming Glycolic Wash ($32/3.4oz @ amazon.com) uses 18% strength, is pH balanced and also contains Lactobionic acid, which helps with wrinkles.
What kind of cleanser are you using these days?

Natura Bisse Cream Cleanser with AHA in the morning. The AHA part is 5 different acids: Glycolic, Lactic, Malic, Tartaric and Citric. I think it's 2%. Even their gel cleanser with AHA is a bit too harsh for me, as I use Retin-A at night for adult acne. I use a variety of cleansers at night and sometimes even double cleanse after I use makeup remover. 2 to 4 times a week I use a microfoliant. It's a little simpler if I haven't worn makeup during the day. It has taken months to figure out a regime that works. I don't use toner, as most of them are too harsh, and will just set off oil production and create blemishes. My skin is also sensitive to weather changes and humidity. It's just a never-ending battle!
