Nourishing Skin Care From the French
Lately I’ve been using the hard stuff to clean and remove my makeup at the end of the day. What is it exactly? Cold cream. But for some reason I have not been liking it as much as I usually do. So in my quest for something lighter but just as good, I got lucky with the French brand, PATYKA’s, Biokaliftin Demaquillant Intense ($42/3.38oz @ revolve.com). This is an organic cosmeceutical line and their products carry the ECOCERT stamp so they never use any synthetics or fillers. This is probably the purest brand I've come across this year. This cleanser is formulated with over 86% certified organic plant extracts including rose floral water (which you can smell), cornflower extract, sesame seed oil and palmarosa extract, to name a few. While it didn’t leave my face as dewy as the cold cream, it felt hydrated and not tight at all. I’ve gone to bed sans night cream every night this week and my skin doesn’t seem to be suffering (parched) each morning.
