One
of my favorite scents to come out in 2009 has to be VIKTOR & ROLF’s
Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum. I bought a bottle after smelling a swatch of it in a magazine
and then forgot I had it until earlier this month. Has that ever happened to
you? Anyway, I know that a scent can smell different in a magazine then in the
bottle but this one translated really well and wow, is all I can say about this
one. It has top notes of tea and bergamot, middle notes of Sambac jasmine, orchid,
freesia, rose and base notes of patchouli. I really recommend you make a note (no
pun intended) of this one to at least give it a whiff next time you are in a
department store. It’s simply stunning! Floral but adult floral.
And
give a scent release a little bit and the accoutrements that come out are
usually really good like this one comes in the Flowerbomb Purse Spray ($110 only
@ nordstrom.com), which comes with 3 refills. Big recommendation.
