A big wave of excitement was felt through the blogosphere recently when URBAN DECAY announced that not only were they relaunching their 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils but they were adding new shades, 13 new ones to be exact. So that’s 14 that existed and now 13 more. That’salotta color!
I was able to get my hands on some of the more out there shades so click after the pic to see more pictures and swatches!
Do you like safe neutral colors or do you once in a while like to add a dash of edge to your eye look? If you have someone on your list that loves color, this next one is for them.

it is: URBAN DECAY Feminine, Dangerous, Fun Palettes
Why I like it: Some of the colors in each palette have some spark and some are a little more on the neutral side. UD’s eye shadows are a great quality so you’ll get a ton of combos out of whichever one you choose. And with these, they are introducing a new Pigment Infusion System, that helps give each its rich velvety texture and staying power.
I think each case was feeling a little lonely as each includes a mini Lip Junkie Lipgloss inside. Aww! And the zippered vinyl case is just so unique and feel sleek when I run my fingertips along it.

Probably the coolest palette I’ve seen in a long time is the Vice Palette from URBAN DECAY. It’s twenty brand new eye shadows in one solid compact and it’s part of their Holiday 2012 Collection.

Yes, the term YLBB (your lips but better) is totally overused but I have to say this new Naked shade from URBAN DECAY falls into it totally so I have to resurrect it for this feature. This creamy light sheer beige is the perfect nude lip and it has just a touch of luminosity to give lips some depth.
I’ve always been a fan of URBAN DECAY makeup – the colors, the cleaver packaging, it’s just all fun, the way makeup should be. They just added some new shades to the Lip Junkie Cooling Lip Glosses and since I never tried these before, this was my first experience with them and I think I’m in!

URBAN DECAY always puts out some of the most unique colors but here is the problem I have with the 24/7 line and while I’m at it, the Baked line. When they add more colors to these two collections over a long period of time, I think it confuses people that don’t follow every color the brand puts out and they might think, “I think I’ve got that already,” when they hear of a new color being added. If the brand just put out whole newly named collections or item and color, I really think it would catch more eyes. Just my two cents.
On that note, they just came out with some new 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil colors and I was quite excited to swatch them here.
URBAN DECAY added some more shades of those hot guy lip glosses to the line. Have you seen these yet? Each cap has uses a holographic design effect so depending on how you move it, you either get him clothed or in his skivvies!
URBAN DECAY just released some of their fall collection and while I was really intrigued by the eye shadow palette, I have to say I was more curious about the Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colors. I’m generally a fan of anything in a thick chubby stick and this one looks pretty pigmented! The formula is pretty smooth going on and I’m not sure why they have the name “gloss” in the title as they are not really glossy, like a lip gloss, but have more of a consistency of a lipstick.
And while I’m not too sure the bright orange cream of Punch Drunk is quite me (I got some odd stares in the office), I think I can mix it with some other lippies to make it not look quite a shocking. If you are of the stance of “the brighter, the better,” then go for this shade! Available in 5 colors for $19 @ sephora.com.

Brights are everywhere right now – clothing, shoes and especially makeup. And the best way to give a pop of color is with an eyeliner, nail polish or lippie. If you can see it in the form of a piece of candy, then it’s in! I’ve seen a few features in the monthly magazines focusing on this trend as a liner. Pick no ordinary liner but one that will last on the lids no matter how oily they can be like this one. I think URBAN DECAY hit it out of the park with their new Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint. I have a heavy hand and am quite challenged when I have to applying the right amount of blush and usually end up wiping half of it off before exiting the house. This cheek tint is buildable, comes in 6 shades and contains some good-for-skin ingredients like vitamins A, C and E. Color pick – Score (pink-peach with gold sheen). $24 @ urbandecay.com.
