URBAN DECAY always puts out some of the most unique colors but here is the problem I have with the 24/7 line and while I’m at it, the Baked line. When they add more colors to these two collections over a long period of time, I think it confuses people that don’t follow every color the brand puts out and they might think, “I think I’ve got that already,” when they hear of a new color being added. If the brand just put out whole newly named collections or item and color, I really think it would catch more eyes. Just my two cents.

On that note, they just came out with some new 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil colors and I was quite excited to swatch them here.

URBAN DECAY added some more shades of those hot guy lip glosses to the line. Have you seen these yet? Each cap has uses a holographic design effect so depending on how you move it, you either get him clothed or in his skivvies!

URBAN DECAY just released some of their fall collection and while I was really intrigued by the eye shadow palette, I have to say I was more curious about the Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colors. I’m generally a fan of anything in a thick chubby stick and this one looks pretty pigmented! The formula is pretty smooth going on and I’m not sure why they have the name “gloss” in the title as they are not really glossy, like a lip gloss, but have more of a consistency of a lipstick.

And while I’m not too sure the bright orange cream of Punch Drunk is quite me (I got some odd stares in the office), I think I can mix it with some other lippies to make it not look quite a shocking. If you are of the stance of “the brighter, the better,” then go for this shade! Available in 5 colors for $19 @ sephora.com.

Brights are everywhere right now – clothing, shoes and especially makeup. And the best way to give a pop of color is with an eyeliner, nail polish or lippie. If you can see it in the form of a piece of candy, then it’s in! I’ve seen a few features in the monthly magazines focusing on this trend as a liner. Pick no ordinary liner but one that will last on the lids no matter how oily they can be like this one. But if a liquid is not your thing, perhaps URBAN DECAY 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil ($20 @ urbandecay.com) are. These. Liners. Stay!! I think URBAN DECAY hit it out of the park with their new Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint. I have a heavy hand and am quite challenged when I have to applying the right amount of blush and usually end up wiping half of it off before exiting the house. This cheek tint is buildable, comes in 6 shades and contains some good-for-skin ingredients like vitamins A, C and E. Color pick – Score (pink-peach with gold sheen). $24 @ urbandecay.com.

URBAN DECAY just added some false eyelashes to the line. Seems like they should have added them a long time ago but better late than never. Urban Lash ($15 only @ sephora.com) comes in 18 different styles of wow and totally wearable. Maybe you’re looking for something fierce and nightclub? Then the intricate layers of Come Hither might be up your alley or maybe you just want some lashes that you might not have a hard time applying! Instaglam is 4 pairs or ¼ lashes so anyone can do it!

According the Urban Decay and Stila, it’s shimmer! STILA just put out their Jewel Eye Shadow Palette ($32 @ sephora.com) from the Dust to Diamond Collection and with colors like Rose Quartz (light pink with silver sparkle), Amethyst (grey eggplant with champagne sparkle), Black Diamond (black with silver sparkle), and Golden Topaz (champagne shimmer with silver and gold sparkle), you’ll rock many looks in the coming months.

URBAN DECAY just came out with some cool new shadows too and these amp up the glitter. In fact, these boast 40% more than their most sparkly ones. So tap into your inner Ziggy Stardust with Stardust Eyeshadow ($20 @ sephora.com), from the Spring 2010 Collection, with colors like the dark purple shown here of Retrograde or the deep turquoise of Atmosphere. Each of these is a sheer wash of color and bits of sparkle in it and they claim no glitter fallout. For another looks, I’ve been dipping my brush into some water before applying the Moon Spoon (gray) as a liner.

I am pretty blown away by URBAN DECAY’s new Surreal Skin Cream to Powder Foundation Crème ($34 @ sephora.com ). Just pick the right shade inside the violet compact and yowza. The formula uses Hyaluronic Filling Spheres and Pearl Powders to give skin a smooth appearance. If you’re a non-wearing foundation wearing girl but reach for one just when you want to even your skin’s tone out, this is one to consider trying. The formula is buildable so whether you are a foundation wearer or the aforementioned, you’ll probably be pretty happy. Available in 8 shades.
