I think you can tell from yesterday’s post that I’m ready for summer! Are you yet? Have your fragrance picked out yet? Here are some recommendations.

CLEAN Summer Escape ($49/2.14oz @ sephora.com) – this one nails it when it comes to what summer smells like – crisp bergamot, beach grass, mandarin orange, water lily, cotton blossom, and coconut water, among others.

COACH Eau de Toilette Spray Summer Edition ($65/1.7oz @ dillards.com) – fresh and fruity with notes of mandarin, fresh raspberries and guava along with freesia and violet leaves.

SPACE NK Laughter Jour Eau de Toilette ($60/50ml only @ spacenk.com) – fruity floral with standouts of peonies, jasmine, green pear and rose.

VICTORIA’S SECRET Sexy Little Thing Noir Love Me Eau de Parfum ($49/1.7oz @ victoriassecret.com) – soooo sexy! This one mixes wild berries with Madagascar orchid and musk. Hello. Hot. Summer. Nights!

Did you know that the Illume line made other items besides candles? Me neither. And Ms. Nicky Kinnaird is expanding the Space NK brand in the shower. Here are two new shower gels dominating right now.

ILLUME Bamboo & Agave – Happiology Body Wash ($18/12oz @ illumecandles.com) – am I the only one that didn’t know they had a body care line? This one is made with certified organic fruit and flower extracts as well as vitamins A and D. Smells a little flowery and a little milky. Pleasant.

SPACE NK LifeNK Drift Away Shower Gel ($22/11.9oz @ spacenk.com) – inspired by the founder’s fast-paced life, this one is spiked with patchouli, vanilla, white neroli flowers and musk. Mmm, smells stronger than the above but still very relaxing.

It’s full-on fireplace season and I don’t have one! Wah! This doesn’t full on replace it but a warmly scented candle seems to at least get the idea up and running. One I am loving right now is SPACE NK’s new NK Candles in the Wild Iris ($60/9.5oz @ spacenk.com) scent. It combines jasmine, rose, peony and muguet. Really unique! And each candle is hand poured and uses essential oils to delight your nose.

I have a friend who loves all things rose smelling so when I get a rose beauty product, I automatically put it aside for her. Her latest present was this new Hand Wash in Rose from SPACE NK. They just released a new collection of Hand Washes and Hand Lotions and they are both made with organic essential oils and some of the purest ingredients like vegetal glycerin, silk proteins, coconut and rice. Rice? Hmmmm, not sure how rice plays into either of these. On the front of the packaging is a cute outline of the different lines on your hand – heart, head, life, fate, etc.

Balms, butters, salves -- if it’s thick and smells nice, I’m putting it on my skin. SPACE NK Stillness Body Balm ($30/6.7oz @ spacenk.com) is creamy like frosting and infused with Shea butter and cocoa butter. Surprisingly enough this Stillness fragrance’s first scent ingredient is lavender. If you’ve read Cybelesays for a while, you’ll remember that I don’t like lavender at all. But I guess if you mix it with other scents like incense and musk like this one does, then it's ok. Space NK's scents seem to be a hit or miss with me but this one has hit written all over it.
