I have been a long time fan of HONEY. It never spoils, it’s sweeter than sugar, and it’s packed with vitamins and antioxidants. According the wikipedia, it’s the only food that includes all the substances necessary to sustain life, including water. Amazing! I really think this ingredient is highly overlooked when it comes to using it in beauty products as it proven to be able to attract and absorb moisture. Know What You're Using

Here’s a first -- ORiGiNS is the first prestige line of hair and body products to put out a collection certified organic by the USDA National Organic Program. Each of the 9 products in the Origins Organics line declares how much of the product’s ingredients are organic, so for the most part, you know what you are getting. Hair and body never had it so good and I think this will be a trend for 2008. So choose from the Foaming Face Wash ($25/3.4oz) or the Cleansing Body Bar ($15/3.4oz) or some others. My other favorite has to be the Soothing Lip Balm ($15/.5oz). It’s 97% organic, fixes my dry lips and has a nice vanilla scent. All @ origins.com

Holiday Pick - For Pops

I mailed one of LA COMPAGNIE DE PROVENCE’s soaps to my father a few years ago for him to try. Since he’s French he already has very discerning tastes so I wasn’t sure if he would dig it. Wow, was I wrong! He really loved the Savonnette “155” Lavande and called to tell me all about it. So this season, I’m giving him more products from the line and venturing into the Extrait D’Olive (Olive Extract) collection, like the Shower Gel ($16/6.8oz) and Soap Bar ($5.50/3.5oz) I know I can’t lose!
