Making Good With Minerals, Sassy Minerals, That Is.
Time
sure does fly and we got away from our on-going feature exploring different
brands of mineral makeup lines. There are so many great ones out there so
please know that you don’t have to stick to that one main brand. You know who
I’m referring to. So let’s get to it. The Wisconsin-based (Go Badgers!) SASSY
MINERALS line has one of the largest selections of shades I’ve seen in some
time. As they say, “think MAC-like colors but without the fillers.” I like
that! Choose from foundations, primers, finishers, blushes and bronzers,
shadows and liners and even lip balms and be on the lookout for lipsticks,
liners and lip glosses.
Let’s
look at the ingredients in the Sassy Foundation: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc
Oxide, Iron Oxides, Ultramarines and Boron Nitride. All is standard but I had
to look the Boron Nitride up since I wasn’t familiar with that one. It’s an
additive to help with the application and adhesion of the powder.
