I wonder how mineral powders sell compared to mineral lipsticks. I mean the whole premise was built on foundation powders. I, for one, like mineral lippies but only when I’m looking for a sheer color as they have not really perfected the super pigmented formula just yet or at least that I’ve come across.

They use the word "liquid" in the name of PUR MINERALS' Liquid Metal Eye Shadow 4pc Stick Kit ($22 @ purminerals.com) though I don’t quite know why. I mean, they smooth on really nicely for a water-resistant pencil shadow but in no way are they like a liquid. Anyway, these can be used as an eye shadow or liner and makes for a great smokey eye. Know that each has a slight shimmer to them so it will give a little 3D to your look. Check out the below colors.

love a balm. They are so versatile and soothing. More times than not, they are
made with really good ingredients like Shea Butter and nourishing oils. So
check out this PUR MINERALS Pur Balm ($16.50/16g @ purminerals.com). Yup, it’s
made with Shea Butter (it’s the first ingredient listed), vitamin E, Sweet
Almond and Apricot oils and a shot of ginger extract. Dab and rub, dab and rub.

I’ve slathered on a lot of different self-tanners all month … I know, I’m not a big fan because I can never seem to get it right but for those who can, the finished color you get with these three have parts of me realisticly glowing. Just don’t forget to exfoliate before applying! From L to R:

can’t see it in the picture but this one is two-sided. The white pump is the
gradual tan lotion and the black pump is your immediate bronzer color.
MYSTIC TAN Sunless Tanning Lotion for Face + Body ($38/5oz @ sephora.com) - reduced stink-ola. Yeah!! Also contains a cloth glove to help spread the forumla evenly on the skin.
How super cool looking is this PUR MINERALS Pür Rocks product? And the umlauts over the u? Rock!! These nuggets of color remind me of that rock candy gum from yester-year but these look a little less appetizing then that gum. This is from the Spring 2009 Collection and could not be more fitting. Each of the rocks in the box are shimmery with rosy undertones. Use a large brush for cheeks and jaw or a smaller brush for the eye area. $22.50 @ purminerals.com.
