The Sun Still Shines

If it’s starting to look and feel a little like fall in your town, don’t be deceived. The sun is still out and shining those UVA and UVB rays, so you still need to protect your face and body. Lots of excellent choices out there so you can choose the one that fits you best.

JUNE JACOBS Spa Collection Oil-Free Sunscreen Mist, SPF 15 is a convenient and great smelling way to apply sunscreen.  A very fine mist sprays the lotion, which is quick drying and will not clog your pores. But the best thing about the spray is that you can cover those hard to reach places on your back and legs. This formula is very moisturizing so it can multi task. Flowers N' Fruit

The POLA line comes to us all the way from Japan. Founded in 1929, Pola has quite an extensive line of skin care, body care, and even hair. They just launched the product line here in the states and I am very excited to experience these. My pick of the line this week is their Eau de Fleur Fragrance Body Shampoo ($22 @ polakirei.com). This is one huge beautiful 16.8oz bottle of relaxation in pretty in a bottle. Some days I don’t want to use a scented body wash but others, I do. This one leaves a very subtle fragrance on the skin. Available in three scents: Casa Blanca (white lily), Pure Cattleya (orchid), and Rose, shown here.

Like a little dessert in the shower? CAKE Desserted Island Supremely Rich Bath and Shower Froth ($18/8.5oz @ cakebeauty.com) is all things coconut and vanilla. And like the name says, this one is frothy and foamy. Very decadent!
