Either the size of the text on the bottom of NARS’ lip glosses is getting smaller and smaller or I’m going blind. I could barely read the name on this new Larger Than Life color called Paris Follies. It’s a bright flamingo pink and I had really high hopes for the color pay off as the others I’ve tried were really great.

L’OREAL
Infallible Liquid Eyeliner ($8.95 @ lorealparisusa.com) – When they come out with anything Infallible, I listen! A black liquid liner is
very basic and crosses all seasons. This .4mm felt tip pen is pretty easy to apply
and lasts for hours.
NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Barrow Street ($24 @ sephora.com) – I’m pretty obsessed with this seafoam green color. I have two dressed in the color and jumped for joy when I saw this liner in the same color. And it looks great on the waterline!
NAKED PRINCESS Naked Shine Luscious Lip Gloss in Barely Naked ($26 @ nakedprincess.com) – a great nude gloss is hard to find since most don’t show up. This one does, in spades but oh so naturally.
BARE ESCENTUALS Buxom Hot Escapes Bronzer in Tahiti ($28 @ bareescentuals.com) – what would the season be without a face highlighting bronzer? I’ve been using this golden bronze color just under my cheek bones to help define them.
BENEFIT Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Poutrageous! ($16 @ benefitcosmetics.com) – coral is not going anywhere this season and it’s hotter than ever, so if you’re feeling up to making a statement, take on this bright pink-coral color.
ZOYA PixieDust Nail Lacquer in Godiva ($9 @ artofbeauty.com) – textured polishes are so hot right now and this PixieDust kind from Zoya are at the top of the list of must-haves. This Godiva one described as a soft nude with sugared sparkle. Yup, that’s exactly what it looks like on nails.
SEPHORA Colorful Eye Shadow in My Boyfriend’s Jeans No 19 ($13 @ sephora.com) – this dark denim with just a touch of shimmer blue is a nice alternative to always using black to contour your eyes.

BARE ESCENTUALS just came out with some new metallic light blue packaged items under the bareMinerals moniker. I’m loving the sleek packaging and this colors inside and out just work.

Ready to welcome a new lippie line onto the scene? SECRET AGENT BEAUTY recently launched a line of glosses called Secret Lip Affair at the famed Fred Segal in Los Angeles, so you know it must be something special. But is there a need for another line of lip glosses? Let’s look at the pros and cons, pictures and swatches.
How often do you actually think of the packaging your makeup comes in? I mean, really look at it and think about it? Most lines use the same standard containers that, while the colors may be new, the packaging is boring and, well, just has no thought behind it.
One that does not buy into that book is the JOUER line. Their snap or slide together packaging makes it fun to put together your own “palette” to take out on the go with you.

Loving these two lippies from the NARS Fall 2012 Collection. The trend says burgundy for lips and I’m listening and using their Larger Than Life Lip Gloss ($26) in Rouge Tribal – a metallic burgundy and the Pure Matte Lipstick ($25) in Amsterdam – kind a bricky light burgundy.

Yes, the term YLBB (your lips but better) is totally overused but I have to say this new Naked shade from URBAN DECAY falls into it totally so I have to resurrect it for this feature. This creamy light sheer beige is the perfect nude lip and it has just a touch of luminosity to give lips some depth.
