Let’s continue the obsession with all things fat liner! MALLY BEAUTY Eye Amplifying Shadow Liner Duo in Deep Plum and Stone are waterproof and can be used as a liner or all-over the lid. On one side is the liner and the other is a smudger, which I always find myself needing no matter which liner I use.
URBAN DECAY always puts out some of the most unique colors but here is the problem I have with the 24/7 line and while I’m at it, the Baked line. When they add more colors to these two collections over a long period of time, I think it confuses people that don’t follow every color the brand puts out and they might think, “I think I’ve got that already,” when they hear of a new color being added. If the brand just put out whole newly named collections or item and color, I really think it would catch more eyes. Just my two cents.
On that note, they just came out with some new 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil colors and I was quite excited to swatch them here.
NARS - The Spring 2012 Collection is a study in contrasts: Bold color underscored by sophisticated shimmer. Eyes glisten in muted tones of lavender and pink, or shimmer in bronze shades accented with rich navy. Cheeks are flushed with candy pink. Lips gleam in topaz or pop with berry. Metallic violet nails add the finishing touch to a collection that’s bright, strong and iconic.
I am a sucker for these shadow liners mostly because they are so easy to use and great for when you are in a rush. The latest ones are from the MALLY BEAUTY line. Evercolor Shadow Sticks come in 17 different colors and are really smooth going on and quite pigmented.

How often do you think of the products you put near your eyes? I know they are tested for safety but there are still some ingredients that are considered controversial. So it’s nice to see some lines really going out of their way to keep some out of their products like PIXI BEAUTY.
I’m a little late getting to LAURA MERCIER’s limited edition Kohl Eye Pencil Set ($45 @ lauramercier.com) as they came out as part of their holiday collection but they are worth the wait. While I think the colors look kind of hard and dry in person, they couldn’t be smooth or easier going on. Kohl liners are known to be both, which makes them great for smudging but you still have to investigate.
Have you seen any of the Glitter and Ice Holiday Colour Collection from MAC? Some of them really live up to their name of glitter and ice.

My wallet wants everything TARINA TARANTINO puts out but alas, my reality is that I can only afford some of her makeup right now. But that’s ok as I think these Eyelicity Glitter Liners are well worth the investment. Who doesn’t love a glitter liquid liner? A good one, that is. I’ve come across way too many where the glitter pieces are just too big but these are finely dispersed in the formula and each of the below colors reflects that light nicely.
