A big wave of excitement was felt through the blogosphere recently when URBAN DECAY announced that not only were they relaunching their 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils but they were adding new shades, 13 new ones to be exact. So that’s 14 that existed and now 13 more. That’salotta color!
I was able to get my hands on some of the more out there shades so click after the pic to see more pictures and swatches!
I’m such a sucker for shadows in the stick form and these new ones from the JOUER line are right up my alley. They are called Crème Eyeshadow Crayons and come in 5 colors of creamy color and come with a built-in sharpener in the end. Love when companies think of this small but very important detail!

I never thought that a test of a truly good, non-tugging eye liner would to be the ability to apply it with one hand, as in one hand holding a mirror and the other applying to the lids. That’s exactly how I tried out this new Endless Silky Eye Pen from PIXI BEAUTY.
I thought I had tried just about every gel eyeliner out there until I came across this next one. LORAC Pro Cream Eyeliner + Brush is your basic pot and brush eye liner and comes in four colors: Dark Brown, Black, Navy and Plum.
What I like: the pigmentation, goes on smoothly and I get about 6 hours wear out of it. And the brush! The brush is in the handle as in the silver part of the picture below is the brush that sits snug inside the cap.
What I don’t like: nothing! It’s pretty darn good.

To say that I am pretty much in love with the IT COSMETICS line right now is an understatement. Each product I have tried has a reason to be there and is outstanding in its category. Nothing worse than a product that is put out just for the sake of it, which is pretty common in makeup lines.
The latest I tried is their No-Tug Silk Anti-Aging Waterproof Eyeliner and as the name states, this one contains some anti-aging ingredients like Collagen, Hydrolyzed Silk and Anti-oxidants though I’m not sure these cover enough skin to really make a difference and I think it’s more of a schtick, but I digress.
Let’s look at the basics of these – do they apply nicely, last and how’s the pigmentation?

HOURGLASS COSMETICS just put out a couple of new products and I’m all over this Film Noir Kohl Eye Pencil. As we all know, kohl pencils are the smoothest, most non-tugging, color-rich eye pencils out there, but surprisingly, this one is not as soft as the usual kohls I’ve used; it’s actually quite hard. They call this the “next generation of kohl pencils,” so maybe a harder formula is where it’s at!
What it lacks in the ease of application, it makes up for in the deep pigmentation and longevity of wear and this one comes with a sharpener built inside the cap. Available in two colors, Eclipse (black) and Espresso (dark brown black), shown here.

I am so into MALLY BEAUTY’s Age Rebel Waterproof Shadow Stick Duos. The quality is superb, the colors are awesome and they really stay put on lids. Now I don’t have oily lids so if you do, I would be sure to wear an eye shadow primer with these.

Somebody pinch me because I can’t stop staring with glee at the eye items in Blue Illusion de Chanel. Reviewed and swatched here are the two eye shadows and eye liner.
The
collection is described as, ”Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup,

TOO FACED just came out with some pencils for eyes and lips and I’m really into them, especially the smudgy end on the liners. Yes, they are doing something different than everyone else!

I never thought I’d see the day when LUSH put out makeup items, and I don’t mean that in a bad way, just very surprised. We have items for lips, eyes and cheeks. The first collection (how awesome does that sound??) is called Emotional Brilliance and consists of 13 Liquid Lip Colors, 11 Liquid Eyeliners and 6 Cream Eye Shadows.
