Calling All Brides

I’ve been back and forth on what to say about CARGO’s new blu_ray Collection. I mean, it’s made for people who are in front of the camera. With everything going high definition, viewers will see every flaw unless you make an adjustment. So how do these products fit into an everyday girl’s routine? I just read fellowCargo Beauty Blogging Network’s Shades of U post about wedding makeup and how these products are also perfect for high definition photography. I didn’t even think of that! I’ve just been wearing the Pressed Powder ($30) and Blush/Highlighter ($27) as everyday products and they are quite good. Each contains phytochromatic pigments that adjust with the light to make your skin look beautiful. Now I’ll be sure to strike a pose when a camera is in my vicinity! All @ sephora.com

Cargo Gives The Finishing Touch

Cargoeyelights2

Use CARGO EyeLighter ($17 @ sephora.com) next time you really want your eyes to stand out. It’s a makeup artist’s tried and true secret to widen and brighten the eye area. One side is a pointy sponge that has some shimmer and the other side is round with a matte shade so you can even get in the tightest corners. Apply the round sponge to the outer corners of the eyes, the pointed sponge in the inside near the bridge of the nose and of course just under the brow. It really is the finishing touch. And this is one of those products that has the color sitting in both caps so it’s always ready for you to apply. Now available in gold.

Fall Color Pick - Metallic

We’ve been so caught up in the Holidays that we’re a little late on our last color pick of the season, Metallics. They are hot and my favorite feature to play up has to be the eyes and my other … you’ll see tomorrow.

The Internet is just not the place to see the powerful effects of metallic and metal colors like gold and silver. You just can’t get the intensity and luster of a color. And do glitter products count under the metallic umbrella? It’s tiny metal-like pieces, right? We could have gone crazy with the glitter products but only a few really qualified for this piece so here are some suggestions to check out in person.

CargocolorcardsWhat a great way to try out eye shadows from CARGO! This cute ColorCards ($24 @ sephora.com) invention is like a deck of cards in a tin. Each deck has 28 of their shadows, one on each card. Tuck the whole tin in your bag or slide a few cards in your purse to spruce up your lids before dinner. Application brush not included.

Spread Seeds Of Love With Cargo Cosmetics

The buzz factor on this next one is practically deafining and we can see why. CARGO has just come out with a collection of PlantLove Botanical Lipsticks where $2 from the Cargo_2sale of each tube will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. If that wasn’t enough of a reason to run out to buy these luscious lipsticks, the blend of ingredients should be. Each sheer lipstick feels like silk on the lips comes packaged in the coolest case made completely out of corn. I’ve been wearing Majella, a rose plum, and it’s quickly becoming a super summer favorite. There are 12 shades in all and 5 were designed by some of our favorite celebrities. And the 60’s inspired packaging is just so cool. $20 @ sephora.com ~Randi
