Clean Perfume Poofs It Old School

Clean-Original-Body-Veil I’m a sucker for two things in beauty, the poofs attached to the perfume bottles and the poof that used to come with body powders. Thankfully CLEAN PERFUME is bringing it back into vogue with their Moisture Absorbent Fresh Body Veil ($28/4oz @ cleanperfume.com). This talc-free powder contains their original scent and is somehow time-release! So when I first smelled the powder, it did not jump back at me with the notes, instead a light fresh scent just lingered on my skin after I poofed it on. Thankfully there are still some warmer days ahead this month so I can really test the moisture absorbency of this one.

Laura Geller Helps Your Body Glow

Laura-Geller-Baked-Body-Frosting I was flipping through the channels the other day and came upon LAURA GELLER on the QVC channel showcasing her latest products and she was talking about some from her Baked Collection. Since I rarely get demos right in front of me, I put the remote down and watched. One that I had on deck to try was her Baked Body Frosting All Over Body Glow in Sugar Glow ($39.75 @ laurageller.com), so I moved it up in the rotation and dove in this past weekend feeling inspired. And this one is so right now! If you’re showing skin in an outfit, don’t you want to add a little sumthin’-sumthin’ to spice your flesh up? Give arms, legs, décolleté, and spots on the face a luminous glow with this white tea and Ceraphyl Oil infused, sans paraben, powder. And this one is a tad bigger in size than these. It’s a full 4” around, so you are getting a great value for your money on this product.

Get Your Cucumber On

Don’t you love the smell of cucumbers? Not only do they smell great in beauty products but because of their high water content, the ingredient is great for rehydrating the skin. For the face, it can perk up the complexion and as we all know, sooth puffy eyes. So if you like the ingredient for its medicinal purposes or you just like the smell, here are three to help you get your cucumber on.

  • JOHNSON’S Baby Powder in Cooling Cucumber Melon ($4.29/15oz @ drugstore.com)
  • BATH AND BODY WORKS Wallflowers Home Fragrance in Cucumber ($12/2 bulbs @ bathandbodyworks.com)
  • SKINLITE Make-up Cleansing Tissues Cucumber Extract Sheets ($3.95/30 sheets @ amazon.com)
