CALDREA just added a new line of Aromatherapeutic Body products to their brand made up of body washes, soaps, lotions, body oil, body crèmes, and perfumes. The prices range between $10 to $28 and each item made with only the finest botanicals with the most benefits like the Linden Flower (anti-inflammatory), Angelica Root (skin brightener), Chia Seed (combats free radicals) and Rice Bran (increases skin’s elasticity).

And the products come in 3 different scents - No. 1 Aloe Water Apricot (a modern musk with florals and freshness), No. 2 Tea Olive Lime (citrus steeped in vanilla, orchid and tea) and No. 3 Coconut Fig Leaf (violet paired with fruity spice and green coconut).

My favorites that I sampled are probably the rollerball scents of natural essential oils and I’ve worn all three at different times and some days No. 1 fits the bill while others call for No. 2. I’ve always been a big supporter of the small fish in the big beauty pond and I was lucky enough to be able to try out a few products from the MOONESSENCE line. When it comes to ingredients in body products, my motto has always been the less the better. Take their Body Polish in Orange Honey ($38.99/16oz) for example, the ingredients in this one are organic unrefined raw sugar, organic brown rice flour, saponified oils of olive, organic coconut, grape seed and 100% pure steam distilled essential oils. That’s it. Do you really need anything else inside?

The other product in their line that made my week is their Bath & Body Oil in Bergamot & Grapefruit ($28.99/8oz). It’s made up of 100% grape seed oil with vitamin E and pure steam essential oils. Apply this one just out of the shower while skin is still wet. Yes, these are a little on the expensive side but keep in mind you are paying for the quality inside each product. If you’ve been with me for a while then you know my love for products made with honey. And the latest one I cannot get enough of is L’OCCITANE’s new Shea Butter Honey Whipped Body Cream ($22/2.5oz @ loccitane.com). Not only does this limited-edition cream smells heavenly and so comforting, but it is really light and my skin drinks this stuff in! I can’t rave about this one more as it’s teetering on Hall of Fame status right now, but only time will tell.

Yes, we make sure the tone on our face is even but what about our skin like the legs and arms? They too can sometimes use some color evenness. I’m pretty skeptical when it comes to those firming body lotions. I mean, all that work of slathering it on and most of the time I think the results last like an hour, if at all. Well because I was really curious about this newest one on the market from the French brand, IOMA’s, new Body Pro Line, I made the 6-week commitment to try it out.

What it is: Gel Performance Slim Slimming and Contouring Gel

My take: I rubbed some of this on the backs of both of my thighs morning and night and did it every day and it really did seem to lessen some of the dimples in that area, and for totally more than one hour. This one uses the latest in biotechnology and plant extracts to not only firm but improve drainage and tone the area. I was pretty surprised, to say the least.

So is it worth the steep price tag? We all have our areas we spend the dollars on to improve and if this is your area, this would be a good one for you to try for yourself.

When I think of the words body butter, this one from MARK pretty much sums up the fantasy of what you picture and makes it a reality. I am absolutely worshipping the ground, or table, the brand’s Whipped Up Body Butter products are sitting on and my senses for sure made the decision when it came to these.

If you like your lotions thick and decadent with a dash of scent, you may want to check out these purse friendly ones.

The newest addition to the line-up is the super spring smell of Jasmine Petal. It’s a blend of jasmine, gardenia and white musk with a dash of fresh peach and vanilla.

And back in stock I see from their site is the Lemon Sugar Body Butter. If you are a fan of Fresh’s Lemon Sugar products, this one is reminiscent but for the fraction of the price.

How picky are you about your body lotion or body cream? Mascara = yes, blush = no, foot cream = yes, but body cream = no. I think I am a body cream slut! One I tried that is really garnering points with me right now is VOTRE VU Snapdragon Crème and ooo, is this one lush.
