Prescriptives Gives Good Face

Haven’t tried mineral makeup yet? What are you waiting for? Ok, we’ll help. New from PRESCRiPTIVES is their Mineral Color Making Faces ($38.50 @ prescriptives.com) contains a Mineral Color Loose Lighting Powder, Mineral Cheek Color and an angled brush. What sets theirs apart from other mineral brands is they use Radiance Emitting Crystals (R.E.C.), which is a combo of Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Cacite. Hmmm, sounds like the same light refracting ingredients liquid foundations are hot on using. I wouldn’t turn to this Loose Lighting Powder for your regular foundation as it looks to have iridescent particles in it. This is more for overall shimmer like when going out at night.

What’s funny is that everything in beauty seems to go by ounces, with the exception of mineral makeup. That is done in grams. And each of these pots? 2.8 grams each.

I started off not really liking the new See Thru Lip Colour but the more I use them the more I like them. It seems to take quite a few coats (about 3 or 4) to stain the lips and because it’s a gel, it doesn’t seem to dry lips out. And the Secret Crush color is rockin! All @ maccosmetics.com.
