Erase Some Face With Benefit

This is the cutest hot pink container! BENEFiT’s Erase Paste ($26/.15oz @ benefitcosmetics.com) is a concealer that not only hides blemishes and other unsightly markings but also brightens and camouflages the area. Think of those face foundations that have properties inside to blur imperfections. This uses the same technology. Use a dab under the eyes, the shadows around the nose and you can add a tiny bit of water to make it more blendable. It comes in three shades and even has a tiny spatula to spoon some out.

Benefit Cosmetics' Flush Blush

What is blush? BENEFiT COSMETiCS has created exactly what blush was created for – to mimic the color our cheeks turn when, ahem, we’re turned on. Thrrrob ($28 @ benefitcosmetics.com) is the newest addition to their collection of powders with the others being Dallas, 10, Dandelion, Hoola and Georgia. When I first heard this was coming out, I thought it might be a lot like the Dandelion but Thrrrob is more of a bubblegum pink and this powder has a slight shimmer to it.

Red, Red Lips

Why does the red lipstick give us so much pleasure? Was it the forbidden lipstick to play with in your mother’s handbag? Was it the shade you only saw on a model in a magazine? Did your favorite Aunt always wear the same shade of red lipstick as her signature? Did a beautiful gold case signify mystery and allure? All these things and more make up our love for red lipsticks and I’m very excited that this fall it’s all about RED LIPS. 9. It’s a lip stain, and a gloss and Scarlett is its name. LAURA MERCiER correctly named the color of her new Lip Stain in Scarlett. Use your hands and put as little or as much as you like and press into your lips. This has a satin, balmy finish…long lasting too. $20 @ sephora.com

Benefit Cosmetics Enhances Cupid

What a fun sculpting and highlighting this next duo is. New from BENEFiT COSMETiCS is their Cupid’s Bow Set ($28 @ benefitcosmetics.com) is a line and define kit bringing your pucker to its full potential. How does this one differ? It is two pencils – a double-ended mauve-y mocha/pink pencil and a double-ended brush/sponge. Use the light pink of the pencil to lightly shade your cupid’s bow (the V above your upper lip) and then blend using the brush/sponge. Line and fill in your pout with the mauve-y mocha and you’re ready to rock.

This pink primer takes any gal from dull to dazzling with a few simple strokes. Now You're Gonna LOVE Your Look

There are some products out there where the packaging is so darn cute and unique that you want to keep it. And oh is this the case with BENEFiT COSMETICS' new Love Your Look collection. My pick of the litter is the Sheer Cream Blusher ($18 @ benefitcosmetics.com). The formula is pretty thick so it doesn't come spilling out of the tube when you squeeze it. And I love that it's sheer so you can control the amount you put on and not look like you stepped out of the 80's, which I always seem to do. Available in 3 colors so sheer on!
