Do you prefer a liquid body soap or bar soap? I oscillate between the two throughout the week with no real favorite rearing its head. Here are four new ones that just came out that are in full rotation in my shower.

BODYCOLOGY Shower Gel & Bubble Bath in Enchanted Forest ($4.99/16oz @ bodycology.com for locations) – using real honey and aloe vera, this one smells of jasmine (my favorite) and nutmeg on a base of musk and just really clean smelling.

THYMES Triple-Milled Soap in Bergamot Vert ($13/7oz @ thymes.com) – this one is a dash of floral, a dash of woody and two dashes of citrus. Yes, it’s officially fall but this one seems to delight all year round.

SOAP & PAPER FACTORY Handmade Shea Butter Soap in Close ($8/4oz only @ Anthropologie stores nationwide) – now you and your man can enjoy the same soap as this one is a tad masculine – sandalwood, cedar and a hint of citrus.

BATH & BODY WORKS Shower Gel in Paris Amour ($10.50/10oz @ bathandbodyworks.com) - this scent collection just came out and it’s surprisingly nice this time of year – French tulips, apple blossoms and sparkling pink champagne.

You’ve got to admit, bureau space or bathroom sink space is very precious and you really have think out what products you are going to display on it. BATH & BODY WORKS feels your pain so they came out with these Scent Stackers. These are 3oz versions of their lotions, shower gel and fragrance mists that stack on top of one another.

There are only a few scents available right now – Country Chic, Moonlight Path, Sweet Pea, Japanese Cherry, Twilight Woods and my favorite White Citrus. $5 each @ bathandbodyworks.com.

Since I’ve been abiding by this since last spring, I’ve discovered a lot of very cool lines and products, however, I do find myself missing out on bath and body products that don’t really have any bad ingredients in them but don’t have anything really nourishing for the skin inside either. Does that make me a bad person for wanting to use something just because it has a great scent? I hope not! This next one falls into that category but I should mention it does list Aloe Leaf as the fifth ingredient inside so there is something beneficial!!

It’s almost full-time t-shirt weather and here is one to give limbs a nice little kick. BATH & BODY WORKS latest addition is the Carried Away collection.

First the collection – Carried Away is the latest Signature Collection and the scent is a blend of raspberries, white jasmine and whipped vanilla. It’s meant to be a romantic aroma inspired by the way love sweeps you off your feet.

Then the product - I am just loving the Select-A-Shimmer Shimmer Gel and Body Lotion. It’s a two-in-one where you can adjust the amount of shimmer in the lotion each time you pump some out.

Sometimes I’m not in the mood for your typical holiday scent, especially after the holiday, like this coming week. Here are two that are fitting the bill right now.

TOCCA Candle in Brigitte ($36/10.6oz @ tocca.com) – combines ginger, rhubarb and papaya. Surprisingly pleasant.

SLATKIN & CO. Scented Candle in Autumn ($9.50/4oz, $19.50/14.5oz @ bathandbodyworks.com) – blends the lush smells of red delicious apples, fig and notes of fir balsam and rich cedarwood.

Don’t you love the smell of cucumbers? Not only do they smell great in beauty products but because of their high water content, the ingredient is great for rehydrating the skin. For the face, it can perk up the complexion and as we all know, sooth puffy eyes. I’ve been contemplating an on-going feature for the past few weeks called, “Scents that Rock,” and I don’t mean perfumes. These Hand Soaps from BATH & BODY WORKS’ new American Grown Collection would for sure be the first feature. They smell so amazing! I think I wash my hands just so I can get a whiff. And they are in a huge squoval 16oz container and a little squirt gives a lot of later so just one will last you a while.  Scent picks: Napa Grape (ripe grapes), Montana Sky (fresh air) and Washington Apple (red delicious). Also comes in Siesta Key Lemon and Savannah Mint.
