Are These Your Answer to the Highlighting Trend?

Pixi-Beauty-+-Aspyn-Ovard-Glow-y-Powders
If you’re looking to get in on the highlighter craze, the latest ones from PIXI BEAUTY are good ones to start with. They are the Glow-y Powder ($16 @ pixibeauty.com, target.com) cheek powders put out in partnership with beauty vlogger Aspyn Ovard – two highlighters and one blush. While I’m not really on the whole highlight-on-the-cheek bandwagon, these do have a place in my routine, mainly in the inner corner of the eyes and also under the brows. And the blush? Toes the line at being too shimmery for blush (for me) but over a matte blush, it’s nice.

I’ve been seeing different highlighters on Instagram over the last few months with a few accused of having chucks of glitter in them, eek! But know that these are so buttery smooth and blend into the skin nicely so you just get a nice glow of subtle color, which is exactly what you want.

You should also know that the first ingredient listed in these is talc, which some people stay away from.
