Crest new 3D White Whitestrips Luxe Supreme FlexFit
I haven’t used a lot of at-home teeth whitener in some time because of tooth sensitivity. Why risk that yucky feeling? But I like coffee so when I was contacted to see if I wanted to try CREST’s new 3D White Whitestrips Luxe Supreme FlexFit ($64.99/28 strips @ 3dwhite.com for where to buy) I thought I’d give it a shot; technology could be on my side! They claim right on the box that it will whiten as well as a $500 in-office professional treatment and like I said, I’m really liking my coffee these days.
So how does this one work? It’s strips like you’ve probably tried and this box contains 14 packets of 1 strip for the upper and 1 strip for the lower. Just strip off the strip, pull on each end to stretch it (not sure why you need to stretch it as it’s totally long enough to fit almost all the way back on the bottom) and stick it to the front surfaces of the teeth and roll the slack over the top. That easy. One thing I would recommend is applying the strip along the tops of the teeth on the upper and then molding the strip to fit snug across the surface of each tooth.
So the now the big reveal in the form or two questions –
Did it make my teeth sensitive? and Did it make my teeth whiter?
A little and yes. I noticed a little sensitivity on my bottom teeth the next day for a few hours but nothing super uncomfortable like I've felt in the past.
And yes, I did notice my teeth were noticeable whiter after just one use. I not sure it’s recommended but I am going to give my teeth another 1-hour session with these strips later this week.
And unlike previous strips, I can actually talk normally when wearing these! Now that’s a bonus.
