With the announcement of Pantone’s Color of the Year, Pantone 17-5641 Emerald, comes some new products from the SEPHORA+PANTONE UNIVERSE collaboration. It’s quite exciting to see some of the products they are putting out to highlight the shade. Let’s investigate two of them now!

The first thing to standout is the totally 100% uniquely cool packaging! While I am not a huge proponent of packaging because of the waste, I find that I’m actually keeping these two inside theirs when I’m not using them. The Tetris like surroundings of the cardboard of these two is just so much fun.

Color Code Prismatic Shadow Block ($26) – While the dark thick color looks more like paint for the wall then for the lids, it’s really quite workable and not as pigmented as it looks. I think this one would actually look best in the crease.

Color Charged Graphic Lacquer ($10) – The picture shown here has 3 coats of color and what I find fascinating is that there are many versions of nail polishes called emerald (just google the words) but this one is a true emerald. My Step-Mother is going to be so excited when I send her this one in the mail.

Look for these two coming up in March and other items like Eyeliners, a Lightspeed Glitter Dust, even lip glosses. And of course, you know where @ sephora.com.
