This MAC collection has had a lot of buzz around it partially because of the ultra-cool packaging. I mean, who didn’t grow up with these Disney characters? And I’m sure these kinds of collections help cut down on the counterfeiting of their products. There are four different collections, one after each character - Cruella De Vil, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, and Evil Queen, with each color collection highlighting the characters’ personalities. I’ll will be focusing one of the collections each day in the next four days. So let’s get to my favorite character of the bunch, Cruella!

My take: Ms. De Vil is known for her cheekbones so I was immediately drawn to the Powder Blush in Darkly My Dear, a dirty brown plum, which kind of looks like my favorite bronzer + blush of Dallas from Benefit. But I know it won’t be for everyone, so maybe a sweep of Her Own Devices (cool nude w/a dash of pink) for definition will be more up your alley?

Let’s talk eyes! We know that she loves to wear it all at once, but you would never do that, right? If eyes are your thing, De-Vil Eye Shadow is a rich copper that can take center stage. If you are doing lips bold and eyes subtle, the frosted creamy pal gold of Sweetjoy will give lids a nice wash of color.

For lips, Ms. D loves the red and so do I so swipe on the Amplified Creme Lipstick of Heartless, a cherry red, or a deep fuchsia w/pink pearl from the Wicked Ways Lipglass.
