A New Breed of Skin Care – Mineral Cosmetology w/Omorovicza
The
winter brings with it a bunch of changes in the body and for me, the skin on my
face seems to really be affected every year, like it’s caught a cold or has the
flu. So even though for the most part I can put just about anything on my skin,
during this time of the year, I have to be somewhat mindful. A new line to me
and the site is called OMOROVICZA [o-more-o-vee-tsa]. The line was created when
an American and Swiss discovered the skin benefits of Budapest’s famous mineral
thermal baths. Each product in the line contains their Pannon Complex, which is
a blend of proteins and vitamins found only in these thermal waters. I tried
the Thermal Cleansing Balm ($102/1.7oz @ bergdorfgoodman.com) and the cold my
skin seems to catch each year is all but gone! It’s hard to describe but it
just feels decongested.
Now
don’t be weirded out by the color or the feeling of the non-foaming balm. It’s
a dark grey/black and is pretty thick so a little goes a long way. And the end
result is pretty moisturizing on the skin so you probably won’t need to add
extra moisturizer afterward. It’s kind of like how my skin feels after using
cold cream. I can pretty much guarantee you haven’t tried anything like this
one before.
