Lancome's Oscillation Powerfoundation Review

Lancome-Oscillation-PowerFoundation-2 Wow, was I ready for LANCOME’s new Oscillation Powerfoundation with SPF 21 to be a gimmick. It just seems that taking the vibrating technology to foundation was pushing it too far. I mean it sounds good in theory but, really, vibrating mineral foundation?? It uses 7,000 micro-vibrations per minutes to break down the powder into mircronized particles and work them into the skin for a natural look, which actually makes more sense than you would immediately think! And you don’t have to make circles with the sponge, which you normally do when it comes to applying mineral powders. The formula also contains aloe and a vitamin E complex and is totally talc and oil free. Available in 12 shades. $48/.21oz @ lancome.com.

Hi Cybele,

I love the idea of mineral make-up more than I do the actual products usually, due to how they are applied. I have many skin issues at once; hormonal chin acne, melasma from birth control pills, and combination skin. All these issues tend to make me apply the minerals too heavily. Your Oscillation review made me think this one might be the ticket, and it is. The applicator really does give you nice coverage without looking cakey. I still have to whip out a brush to deal with my chin blemishes, but all in all I dig this one!

Thanks for the info. :)
