How Make Up For Ever Celebrates High Definition

I guess TV going all digital is a big deal and to celebrate, MAKE UP FOR EVER just came out with HD Elixir ($38/.40oz @ sephora.com). Though a few lines have come out with products for HD in the past year, it seems that only people who will benefit from them are the people in front of the camera. Not necessarily or at least not with this one. This serum claims to boosts skin’s hydration, “520% and continued hold in moisture atMake-Up-For-Ever-HD-Elixir 490% after 30 minutes and 430% after one hour.” Umm, wouldn’t my skin be dripping with water if the above is the case?? Guess not. I know this was made for dehydrated skin but how can I prove the above?

Their Creator and Artisitic Director, Dany Sanz, wanted a product that could intantly boost the moisture level on the skin. When you’re in the middle of a fashion show, there’s simply no time to wait for a moisturizing lotion to do it’s thing. So voila, HD Elixir!

Bottom line: if your skin tends to be on the dryer side you are looking for a makeup primer, this is one you might want to try.
