April Rain Skin Science Will See You In Your Dreams

How can you not be intrigued looking at APRiL RAIN SKIN SCIENCE’s Night Rainew ($129/1.7oz @ aprilrainskinscience.com) product? It’s a Lucite teardrop! But it ain’t no common one. Inside is the latest in peptide technology, or in this case, they call it a HydroPeptide, which is 21 hydrating elements and organic Buddleja (you know I had to google this word and found that it is group of anti-oxidant-rich plants) and Echinacea. I thought Echinacea was only for colds and rarely in beauty. I’ll have to look that one up too to see why it’s in here.

So what do I have to report back to you on this on?

Very nice and hydrating. I know you can say that about a lot of skin creams but this one made my skin feel supple for a long time, like a couple of hours. I’ve had the humidifier on every night for the past two months as this cold-ish weather just sucks the life out of my throat and can only imagine what it does deep down in my skin so I’m glad that this season I have had this one on hand for my skin.

Their formula is also paraben and phthalate free and great for all skin types.

And their website gives us a reminder not to forget the décolleté. There and the neck are always two places I never forget when apply face moisturizer. Do you forget?

They are slowly rolling out more products in the line so I’ll let you if we are able to try them out.

The top of the little bottle reminds me of Hershey's kisses. :P

I like it though! It's very interesting, and I love the symbolism behind it.

I'm another one of those people whose skin gets very dry and flaky during the winter, and, well, next year, I'm thinking about buying one of those. I have never been able to find the perfect moisturizer. The ones I've tried have never kept my skin smooth for long enough.
Thanks for sharing your review. :)
