Urban Decay Expands Upon Perfection
There has been much praise for URBAN DECAY’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I’ve even seen videos on youtube on how to get the most out of the tube. I guess the way the tube is shaped, product gets trapped in the curves. Check out this video from EnKoreMakeup.
Anyway, they just came out with a colored version called Sin ($16 @ sephora.com). It’s the same eye shadow insurance, just in a shimmering champagne color.

While I like the color, I really hate the design. I really feel that UD should redesign the bottle so that you don't have to saw the freakin' thing open to get the product out.
The color sin reminds me a bit of UD's sellout, which I really love.
Cool idea, good product, BAD container design.
The design of the container keeps me from buying it. I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance instead.

I am super-excited to try this. I have been using Benefit's Lemon-Aid and it does crease, so I have been looking for a real creaseless shadow base. I love that it is a base and also offers neutral, shimmery color.

Hi Holly - I too have gotten creases with Benefit's Lemon-Aid. You can also get this without the color, yeah!

Hi Phyrra - but think of all the publicity that has been drummmed up because of the design? I have not tried the Shadow Insurance but will have to and compare the two.

Sounds like a good thing to try, but you'd think that they would redesign the bottle
eventually.
Maybe if enough of us e-mail or write with
the suggestion they might actually do it!

I have been using the original UDPP for years and it's fabulous. I have oily, oily lids and this keeps my shadows in place even through working out at the gym. I just ordered Sin from Sephora and am trying to wait until I finish my current tube before I open it up. I agree that a different package is in order, but with people buying it no matter what I don't see that the company has the impetus to change!
