A Salve Has Got Your Covered
Growing up, I had a neighborhood friend’s Mom that sweared by salves. Got a cut while outside playing? Hot tail it over to her and she cleaned it and applied “something to make it feel better,” which I later found out was salve. Ever since then, I have been quite fascinated by them, on a whole. It’s really a laundry list of things salves can be used for besides helping heal a boo-boo: cuticles, tame flyaway hair, makeup primer, chapped nose from a cold and chapped anywherereally like heels, elbows etc, and they can even pacify just-waxed skin. Here are two that are taking center stage in my salve obsession.
BLiSS Problem Salved ($18/.45oz @ blissworld.com)
BURT’S BEES Miracle Salve ($7/2oz @ burtsbees.com).

Burt's Bees is such a great brand. I love their commitment to great ingredients that won't harm your body. They use only natural ingredients and I feel like it's a brand I can trust - especially with all he studies coming out now about how the ingredients in all our beauty products are affecting out hormones, and can be toxic to our systems!!
Thank you Burt's Bees!! :)
