Waxing Lippie with Giorgio Armani

Tired of the same ol’ tube of color? Try GIORGIO ARMANI’s new Lip Wax Compact Lipstick ($28 @ giorgioarmani.com). They call it lipstick without the excess and how right they are though I would say this is more of a lip stain … or is that what they mean? Oy, I think I’m reading too much into this but my lips really feel likeGiorgio-Armani-Lip-Wax I have nothing on, which is perfect since I feel like some lipsticks suffocate my lips. It’s their Mirco-fil ingredient that gives this weightless result and I feel like they invented this just for me. Lovin’ shades #4 Raspberry and #6 Deep Chianti. I wish this had its own application brush though as color on the finger is just not attractive.

I love these concepts...but in reality, a stick is just so much more handy than a pot when it comes to sticking your finger into it to put some on, then having nowhere to wipe it off on. :(

Love this new compact by Armani. I do agree with you about the brush... would be nice.Glad I stoped by to view this product.

Hi A Few Goody - MUFE had a lippie sort of like this and it had a brush conveniently tucked on the bottom of the pot.

Hi Kaley - yes a stick is much more convenient but the weightlessness of this one is so worth it. I can't stand that suffocating feel some glosses or lipsticks give my lips.

This sounds great! I always hate the feel of lipsticks, maybe this would be the best for me, I really like the sound of feeling nothing at all. =D
