I am pretty in love with this Grape, Olive & Nectarine Moisturizing Lip Butter ($6.99 @ Target stores nationwide) from the Mediterranean collection from BOOTS. The pot is a pretty big .5oz and it not only smells divine, the ingredients are grape seed oil, olive oil and nectarine extract, to name a few. And this is one that lasts on lips longer than the normal balms. Is that because it’s a butter? Hmmmm…

Cult favorite SKiNCEUTICALS has just added a new product their line and it’s leading the way in a new wave of antioxidants. Rather, the main ingredient is one that is leading the way. Phlorentin CF ($150/1oz @ skinceuticals.com) is the result of 5 years of research and the main ingredient, Phloretin, is a newly discovered powerful molecule found in the root bark of fruit trees like apple and pear and is anti everything – fungal, cancer, viral, inflammatory. The unique molecular structure makes this one very potent. The patent-pending technology behind this one combines the Phloretin with vitamin C and Ferulic Acid (another well-known antioxidant) and is not only able to protect against free radicals but also against cell mutation and DNA damage. Whoa. So this is some pretty advanced stuff! I could go on and on with all the mumbo-jumbo literature but I think you get the picture and I am recommending this one if you are interested in using the latest technologically developed anti-aging product.

We love seeing a trend come down the pike, especially one that is newish. This one? Hair glossing and the yeahs and nahs seem to be mixed from what I’ve read on other blogs with course hair types seeming to have the best results. However, mine is not course and I had pretty great results overall. So I guess in this case, you should probably try it to see if it will work for you. Here are three we recommend from L to R:

KEN PAVES Boost Up Color Drops ($39.95/.96oz @ hsn.com) is more of a color boost and this one enhances the sheen and adds gloss. Add a few drops to your conditioner and this one can take a few uses to give you that boost. Choose from 5 different shade enhancers, from Brown to Blonde and Red.

JOHN FRIEDA Clear Shine Luminous Color Glaze ($9.99/6.5oz @ ulta.com) – this one smells just like the one my hairdresser used to use on my hair but this one costs a lot less. Apply to totally dry hair for 20 minutes and rinse.

CLAIROL Nice’n Easy Colorseal Weekly Conditioning Gloss ($4.59/1.96oz @ drugstore.com) – weekly treatment for those that color our hair. Use this one in placement of your regular conditioner.

CLINIQUE new Blushwear Cream Stick ($18.50 @ clinique.com) is so easy to handle. Think of it as a blush marker with a flat top! And the formula goes from a cream to a powder and is very blendable. Color pick: Rosy Blush.

Are you a little hesitant to dive in when it comes to bright eye shadows? How about trying a bright liner for your peepers instead? CARGO Wet/Dry Eyelining Palette ($32 @ sephora.com) houses 8 wearable shades in a really slim case. Use a small angled eye lining brush to sculpt the color around the lid and you’ll have people doing a double-take.

We @ Cybelesays have tried many-a hairbrush. Think about it. You got your paddle, round, boars hair, plastic bristle and on and on. And for styling? Each aforementioned style seems to get their day in the sun, or rather, under the dryer but this one from SPORTNETTE’s Italian collection is really taking the cake right now. And it’s so basic it’s scary. It combines all the good qualities that make for a good round styling hairbrush – smooth surfaced handle with no places to catch your hair, bristled hourglass shape that helps hold the hair and prevent tangles. We have been very excited about this next launch since we read about it back in April. And for me, this is the cutest and most quality collection Ms. Stefani has put out yet. The HARAJUKU LOVERS Eau de Toilette line is quite the breath of fresh air and is just as fun and unique as she is. The fragrance sits inside a glass bottle and each has a different plastic finger puppet-type character on top. And each scent is named after her backup dancers – Lil’ Angel, Music, Baby and my favorite Love. Wait, that’s only four. Almost forgot G, which is Gwen herself.

I have a confession and it’s hard to admit this amongst us beauty product lovers but here goes. MAC makes my head spin. There I said. I can’t keep up with the collections. Every time I turn around they are putting out yet another collection. With other brands, they seem to only put out a new collection each season, and that’s almost hard enough given all the lines out there. How does MAC do it?

With that said, I hope you can see how I missed their Pro Longwear Lipcolors when they came out a while ago. I totally thought their sister product, Pro Longwear Lip Colour, were a brand new concept to the line. Duh! Not! Anyway, I loved the shades in the Lustre Twins’ collection that just came out and they have pretty much ruined me for any other lip colors or lipsticks these days. I compare everything else to their staying power! They stay on for many hours and don’t flake off or budge. I think the secret is to let the color fully dry on the lips before applying the gloss.
