Even It Out With Redpoint

These two compacts from REDPOiNT really caught me off-guard. While I love the deep blood red colors of the containers, and really liked their Airbrush Effects Whipped Blushwhip, powders on a whole have disappointed me quite a bit lately. Maybe it’s the weather or the fact that my skin has been acting funny the last couple of weeks. Either way, this Hydraboost Firming Powder ($36) has brought me out of my face powder blues. This is a really fine translucent finishing powder that evens out the skin’s tone nicely. It is also supposed to firm the skin and keep it hydrated. I don’t think I saw or felt any of that. I just think it’s a good powder for setting the makeup. They also have a yellow-toned powder, the Red Guard Correcting Powder ($36), which will calm facial redness if that’s your issue.
While we’re on the topic of compacts, their NOC-Out Cover-Up Compact ($38) is tre useful for oh so many skin tones. Each week I seem to have something pop up on my skin and this compact gives me three ways to knock it out. The yellow is for neutralizing redness, the salmon cream is for dark spots or heavy pigmentation and the beige is for under the eye and eyelid. Use a Taklon brush or sponge with any of these creams for the best results. All @ redpointbeauty.com

I like the NOC-out, but I do wonder if they would sell replacement pies for those months when my dark circles are frequent but nothing else is. :-)

Hi Heather - I would email them to see if they do sell refills. Would make sense!
