Thierry Mugler Ventures Into Cosmetics
There’s nothing better than finding a line that really thinks of the details from it comes to packaging. And this new THIERRY MUGLER collection thinks of it all – from the rounded corners of the boxes, to the product info on the insert folded into a tiny envelope inside each box, to the spatula-like application thingy at the end of the gloss wand in his Lip Lacker (Plexi Gloss) ($40 @ saks.com). It’s quite refreshing not having to try and make sure ever hair at the end of the wand goes back in the tube straight. And the colors?
These two, Blue Effect and Pink Effect, are like wearing ultra-violet purple light on your lips. They call this a holographic effect and they achieve it by some pretty serious technology using liquid crystals. The shades are really unique and the formula is quite moisturizingly glossy. It’s a little pricey but if you are looking to splurge on a gloss, this is a good choice.

Wow, these look really interesting. I love lipgloss so I need to look into getting some of this! It's really neat that the packaging is also very futuristic looking!

This is an interesting design...I'm in need of some new lip color so I might look this up to give it a try! Need extra moisturing during the winter months.
