You Read It Here First ... Urban Decay 2008 Fall Collection

It’s been a while since we’ve been able to do a Your Read It Here First ... So here’s the lowdown on the 2008 Fall Collection from URBAN DECAY.

Our pick from the collection has to be the retooled Lipstick ($22). Hold a piece of gothic artwork in the palm of your hand! And doesn't the picture on the right make it look like a toilet brush in it's holder? I wish I could get one that looked that cool. Here's the rest of the deets: 21 shades ** infused with vitamins A, C, E ** paraben-free ** creme carmel flavor ** hot purple heavy case.

Also coming out for fall:

  • 24/7 Lip Pencil available in 6 shades ($16)
  • Grindhouse Pencil Sharpener ($8)
  • 24/7 Concealer Pencil ($16)
  • Matte Eye Shadows – 3 new shades - Heist, Electric, Shakedown ($16)

All only @ urbandecay.com

Ooo, these lipsticks look great, especiallly the tubes. And I love heavy lipsticks. they just seem more glamourous!

Cybele

Hi Dana - Hope you had a nice weekend! I LOVE weighty lipstick tubes like the ones from Estee Lauder.

Kaley

Ughh. I hate that I like these ($$$$). Creme carmel? YES. And even though the packages aren't as cute as Anna Sui (in my opinion..though somewhat similar? in a way.. hmm..) it's still pretty darn snazzy if you ask me.

Cybele

Hi Kaley - probably the gothic feel makes is similar. And nothing beats Anna's signature red lipstick color! I wish more companies would make their lipsticks more fun like this. We women really like it, no?

Casey B

I would love to try Urban Decay and this new lipstick when I get the chance =)

Cordelia

I'll definitely be picking these up, even though they do look a little like toilet brushes. Caramel flavored *and* good colors? I'm in.

Now, to see some swatches of the new ES.

Cybele

Hi Cordelia - It seems strange that there is no mention of the toilet brush factor in any of the press materials or on their website. Gothic toilet brushes! haha. Thanks for reading.

Nikki

Wait, did I miss something? Did they redoo all their lipsticks and this is the style now? I like it but wow, no warning, haha. I'll have to hold one next time I got to sephora.
