This Week In Nails

This-Week-in-Nails-CND-Borghese-Orly-Isadora Let's roll out a new feature! Each week I'll tell you what's on my tips and toes and what I was listening to while they dried. Color is all about mood, right? Since I was a publicist in music for quite a few years, my taste is all over the map so you'll probably see a song from Opeth and Children of Bodom to Air and Tangerine Dream.

As far as what day of the week these features will appear? Depends on how long the prior week's manicure is lasting. hA!!

Here's this week:

TipsISADORA Perfect Nail Polish in Summer Red ($9 @ cosmeticmall.com)

ToesBORGHESE Nail Lacquer in Amethysta Gold ($7.99 @ walgreens.com)

Tips and ToesORLY Bonder Rubberized Base Coat ($7 @ drugstore.com), CND Air Dry Finish ($5.95 @ enailsupply.com)

n.p. (now playing): Sam Sparro “Black and Gold”

I love the concept of this new feature. As a np junkie, I too track how long each mani lasts, how I enjoyed the color (sometimes you love it the first day and then just can't wait to get rid of it)....etc. I've wanted to try the Borghese colors, but I think my Walgreens pulled the line already. How does it wear? Do you like the dual brush?

Hi Michele - I am actually quite excited about this on-going feature too and I love the np (now playing) part as I love finding new music and favorites change almost as much as my nail polish!
As far as how the Borghese wears, nail polishes these days have a better time of wearing well thanks to the awesome base coats and top coats on a whole theirs last quite well on my nails. If I wore it solo, I'm sure all might chip off etc. Do you know what I mean?
And I like the dual brush in theory but you can't even see it's dual when the polish is all over it.
Thanks for reading!

Jamie

What a fun new feature! Looking forward to reading this every week!
