Jergens & Neutrogena Put The Tan In Your Hands

So many self-tanners, so little time. Whenever the topic comes up, the conversation seems to go like this:

  • Girl 1: “Ooo, your tan looks good. What brand are you using?”
  • Girl 2: “XXX.”
  • Girl 1" “I was wondering about that one! I only use XXX or XXX.”
  • Girl 2" “I’ve been curious about the one from XXX. I’ll have to try it.”

Like a fragrance, we seem quite loyal to a tanner in that, we search and search and when we find one, we stick to it. The only detail seems to be that it looks real and not on the orange side. Here are two that are our XXX and XXX and don’t make you commit too much up front:

Selftanners_2NEUTROGENA Sun Fresh Sunless Lotion ($8.99/4oz @ drugstore.com).

JERGENS Natural Glow Express ($7.99/4oz @ drugstore.com).

I find gradual tanners can look streaky as you put them on much quicker than regualar fake tans and often I'm unsure about how much to apply. Thanks for the recommended products - will give them a try. Love your blog x

Hi, since these are gradual, if you do mess up in a spot you can fix it easier than one that is not gradual. I always seem to not get my inner arms good enough! Thanks for reading.
