How’s this for a sign o’ the times? A makeup palette that tells you how to use it! As in, it has a recorded message in the top that will tell you step-by-step how to apply the
colors inside. STILA Smoky Eye Palette in The Original ($40 @ stilacosmetics.com) walks you through the five steps in creating the sought after smoky look. What I like about this is the price, the ease in using it, and of course the voice talking to me. Each palette contains four colors and The Original is a new ice champagne for all over the eye, a silver/gray for the lid, a dark gray for contouring and ebony for a liner. Just make sure you have the right tools to apply each step. It makes a big difference when it comes to this look.
