Batter Up!

I’m not really one for sunless tanners. They don’t ever seem to look right on me and my knees and ankles? You can guess how those look after I’m through. For some reason, I decided to try the SOLERRA’s Sunless Tanning Mitt ($25/5-pack) and the eXmitt ($11.97/3-pack) and I’m glad I gave them a chance. Each is shaped like a glove or mitt so it allows more control in getting theSolerra formula in the nooks and crevasses on the body. We’ve all heard that the best way to get an even tone is to exfoliate the skin beforehand. Since most tub scrubs contain oils, it’s not always easy to find one that is just pure scrubbies. The eXmitt is a body buffer in the glove form that preps the skin for the next step.

The next step is the color. Carefully slipping your hand inside the mitt, rub the clear formula that’s infused into the cloth of the glove all over your body and/or face, and in minutes you are ready to put your clothes back on. The color takes from 4-6 hours to develop and it is the slightest most natural tint I have ever seen on me. And the color is buildable.

What I like about both of these besides the glove-ness of them both is that the skin on your palms never comes in contact with the tanner on the mitt. There is a clear sheet inside the tanning mitt that your palm comes in contact with for protection. Both @ solerra.com

Sounds fantastic - Also, sounds like the color is really natural. I know you can also get regular mitts from places like the body shop which you use with fake tan - i wanna try them now! Thanks for the post!

Hi Beauty or Bust - What do the mitts look like? Didn't even think of getting mitts to use for application of a liquid tanner. Great idea!

Girl-Woman

That's brains on beauty. My palms always look scary after application.

Hi Girl-Woman - to me that's pretty much the worst part about tanners is the palms. That and the fact that I can't seem to get my ankles to ever look right! Have a nice weekend.

Love, Love, Love this product! I tried it and not only does it give me the best color ever, it doesn't dry my skin out like all self tanners I have used. Also, love the smell...didn't smell like self tanner for days! Thanks Cybele!
