A favorite new face finisher-offer this spring is CLINIQUE’s Blended Face Powder and Brush ($18.50 @ amazon.com) in new Invisible Blend. It helps set makeup and the travel brush is totally totable. And because the brush has a cap on it, they even recommend loading one application into the brush and take it with you in your evening purse for a "out on the town" touch up.

In continuing our coverage of great Shea Butter products, I am really surprised at the number of ones that have the word Shea in the name of the product and then the ingredient is waaaaay down on the list. It seems like it was almost an after thought, “Oh we need to put some actual Shea Butter in there since it has it in the name.” Anyway, here are some more recommendations with the ingredient right at the top of the ingredient list.
CAROL’S DAUGHTER Unscented Shea Body Butter ($20/8oz @ drugstore.com)
FREDERIC FEKKAI Shea Butter Hair Mask ($22.50/5oz, $32/9oz @ target.com)
JERGENS Shea Butter Cream ($6.29/7.5oz @ drugstore.com)
- BATH BY BETTIJO 100% Pure Whipped Shea Butter ($16.50/2oz @ bathbybettijo.com)
Why am I such a sucker when it comes to fragrances this time of year? I feel like I have to try them all but I guess that’s a good thing since you reap the rewards of hearing about a good one! L’ARTISAN PARFUMEUR L’ete en Douce ($135/3.4oz exclusively @ barneys.com) has “wear me with a spring dress” written all over it. It has top notes of mint leaves and rose essence; middle notes of orange blossom, lime tree, green hay and base notes of botany, white wood and white musk. Don’t you deserve a new fragrance this season?

Myohmyohmy, is this one good! SONYA DAKAR just came out with a body line and the Mineral Polish ($48/12oz @ sonyadakar.com) from it is a really nice treat. The main ingredient is Dead Sea Salt and we all know the rich minerals that are found in the Dead Sea. Other good things? Organic Omega-3 Complex, oils of almond, sunflower, apricot and vitamin E. Bad things it does not contain? Parabens, dyes or sulfates. I’ll keep you posted on the other products from the body line. Available in two scents: Cara Cara and Verbena Cypress.

This collection has every color and texture of makeup you would want to don to go out on the town.Think of the hippest club in NYC on a Saturday night, the "in" crowd, Page Six and this is all of that rolled in one. If yer reading this then you’ve heard of the Heatherette duo of Richie Rich and Traver Rains. To put them and MAC together for this Heatherette collection? Genius! Here's our picks:

We simply loved PHILOSOPHY’s The Supernatural Mineral Blush Duo back in January and we were able to try out some of the other products in the collection. This line has proven to me that they are not just body and skin care. Their color collection is a force to be reckoned with! All @ sephora.com
Airbrushed Color Corrector Concealer ($25)
Lip Gloss in Mauve ($15)
Airbrushed Canvas SPF 15 ($35)
- Oil Control Blotting Papers ($10)
Well it finally happened. We got the archives up! Right now you can read back to Nov 2003 (goto the right sidebar of this page or click here) and it's been kinda fun re-reading some of the features. Remember the Tony & Tina line? Or when MAC came out with their first fragrance? I'm still working on getting 2001 through 2003 up so those will be coming soon.
Since they were all created in the Flash program, give it a minute to load. Enjoy!
I’ve been back and forth on what to say about CARGO’s new blu_ray Collection. I mean, it’s made for people who are in front of the camera. With everything going high definition, viewers will see every flaw unless you make an adjustment. So how do these products fit into an everyday girl’s routine? I just read fellow Beauty Blogging Network’s Shades of U post about wedding makeup and how these products are also perfect for high definition photography. I didn’t even think of that! I’ve just been wearing the Pressed Powder ($30) and Blush/Highlighter ($27) as everyday products and they are quite good. Each contains phytochromatic pigments that adjust with the light to make your skin look beautiful. Now I’ll be sure to strike a pose when a camera is in my vicinity! All @ dermstore.com.
