Skin Science

Mdskincare_2File this one under luxury cream. MD SKINCARE new Hydra-Pure Firming Body Cream ($120 @ sephora.com) is the latest in technology packed in a 6.7oz tub. The goal of this cream is to remove the harmful ingredients that can fall on the skin and act as a barrier for a cream. Something as simple as the water we use to wash our skin with that contains the heavy metals like iron, copper and zinc, can be sensitive to some people. It basically helps give you a stronger base so the essential oils, vitamins and other ingredients inside the cream can really do their job to help moisturize and firm. It's based on the same technology of their sunscreens Lisa wrote about a few weeks ago. Since we’ve seen two of their products using this kind of science in the past month alone, I’m curious to see if more will crop up.
