Attention Comfort Queens

ImAs soon as I get home for the night, I have two rituals. First, get into comfy clothes, second, put long hair up. Total ease and max comfort when I’m using i/m Featherweight Head Wraps ($5.99 fer a two-pack @ imstudio.com). Each stretchy band not pulls my hair back, but it stays put nicely for hours and it’s very comfortable! I can’t tell you how many bands I have bought that look comfortably and functional but turn out not to be. A stylish way to stay cool this summer.

Bathing Beauties

Viabotanica_3At Cybelesays, we all love discovering wonderful bath products. And this upcoming line proved to be exceptional. ViA BOTANiCA sampled us with three delicious hand made products and I recommend all of them.

Our love for soap continues with their Handmade Soap ($6/5.5oz) in Lavender. This bar has big chunks of fresh lavender for cleansing and extreme exfoliation. Help, I’m addicted and my bar is withering away.

after a hard day’s work, I am slathering my legs and feet with their Hand & Body Lotion in Invigorating Mint ($10.95/8oz). So refreshing and easy to use in the pump bottle.
At bedtime, I’m dipping into the Whipped Body Butter in luscious Vanilla Orange on a regular basis. It’s a dreamsicle for your dry body parts! $16.95/8oz. All @ viabotanica.com ~Lisa

Juice Is Good for You In More Ways Than One

JuicesEven if JUICE BEAUTY skincare wasn’t 95% certified organic or an extremely effective full service skincare line, I would go back to it time and time again just for the delicious fragrances of the products!
Make a special note of the soap-free Cleansing Milk ($22/6oz). Rich raspberry and white grape juice mixed with soothing Aloe vera and vitamins melt makeup off and gently cleanse. Juicesensitive_2

My next nose/skin pick is the Antioxidant Serum ($45/2oz). It has a powerful blend of natural vitamin antioxidants to rejuvenate, help smooth fine lines and firm your skin. You can use it morning and night.

Their Green Apple Peel Sensitive ($39/2oz) gently exfoliates and brightens your skin with a hydroxy acid complex of certified organic apple, lemon, grape juices and raw cane sugar (excellent for sensitive skin!). MMMM yummy.
This is also an excellent line to get teens started on a good skincare regime. They will really dig the results and fresh fragrances! All @ juicebeauty.com ~Lisa

Magic Sponges

I thought I had seen it all until stumbling upon SPONGEABLES. This is the most fun way to shower for kids of all ages,Spongeables and I’m completely hooked. Children will be asking you if they can take a shower rather than having to cajole them into doing so, and adults will find showering to be a whole new experience. This is a shower gel in a sponge and gives 20+ showers. You get to exfoliate, moisturize, massage, and wash with the sponge that contains time-released gel. Simply squeeze the sponge in warm water and wash away with the creamy bubbles.  When you are finished, squeeze again to get rid of excess water and it’s ready for your next shower. I’ve been using White Rose but check out any scent this company puts out because this is the most magical sponge you’ll ever own. $10-$45 @ drugstore.com ~Randi

From the elegant white with a touch of royal iridescence of Fit for a Queensland to the sophisticated and sexy wine of Suzi Loves Wine, these Nail Lacquers really cover the color spectrum. The Spring runways were mainly neutrals with splashes of color here and there and this collection reflects that trend. And each features their Pro-Wide Brush so you’ll get full coverage on each nail. Three of the colors have coordinating Lip Liners and Lipsticks to complete your look. Here are our picks:

Scents of Summer

TOCCA has summertime down with their newToccamontauk Candle in Montauk ($36/10.6oz = 60 hours @ tocca-candle.com). Quality is expected when it comes to this line and this one throws a combination of fresh salt air and sea grass in the room. And the name? It’s the easternmost tip of Long Island and a beautiful spot.
